Setting up marketing reminders

Learn how to set marketing reminders.

When you create or edit a subscription product in Global Commerce, you can configure when to send marketing notifications associated with that product. The following instructions explain how to edit the marketing notifications for an existing subscription product in Global Commerce.

  1. Sign in to Global Commerce.

  2. Select Catalog, Products, and click Manage Products. The Products page appears.

  3. Click the subscription product's link under the Internal Product Name column. The Edit Product page appears.

  4. Click the Details tab.

  5. Scroll down to Marketing Emails, define how often you want the system to send marketing communications to the shopper, and set up the reminders. Shoppers who agree to receive marketing communications will receive marketing emails that do not necessarily pertain to this subscription product.

    • If you want to send a reminder after a shopper's credit card has expired, select one or more of the following checkboxes for Renewal Reminder After Expiration: 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, and 90 Days.

    • If you want to send information for an upgrade campaign after purchase, select one or more of the following checkboxes for Upgrade Campaign From Creation Date: 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, and 90 Days.

    • If you want to send information for an upgrade campaign before expiration, select one or more of the following checkboxes for Upgrade Campaign Before Expiration: 97 Days, 37 Days, 22 Days, and 14 Days.

    • If you want to send information for an upgrade campaign after expiration, select one or more of the following checkboxes for Upgrade Campaign After Expiration: 14 Days, 22 Days, 37 Days, and 97 Days.

  6. Click Save.
